The Code Officials Conference of Michigan (COCM) Construction Documents Checklist
has been updated for the 2009 Michigan Building Codes.There are several differences from the 2006 Checklist. Virtually all of the Chapter 1, Administration section numbers have changed; there are five net new adds to the 2009 Michigan Building Code (MBC) for construction documents:
- Line 46 — permanent marking on all rated partitions
- Line 47 — location of portable fire extinguishers
- Line 54 — additional masonry details
- Line 137 — mechanical; show compliance with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)
- Line 138 — mechanical; show penetrations through rated assemblies
